Age suitability

This page summarises how Islamate relates to age suitability and the App Store age rating. It is optional background for parents, members, and store reviewers.

1. App Store age rating

The age rating displayed on the App Store (for example 13+) is produced from Apple’s age-rating questionnaire, based on the features and types of content we declare. If Apple changes its criteria or we change the product, that rating can change. We do not use the “override to higher age rating” option unless our terms or the law require a stricter minimum age.

2. User-generated content

Islamate includes messaging, media, stories, and a marketplace. Content may come from other users or sellers. We provide reporting, moderation, and policies (including Terms of Service and Privacy Policy . Parents and guardians should supervise minors’ use of any online service.

3. Minors and guardians

Where applicable, registration flows may involve parent or guardian consent. See our Child safety standards for how we approach child safety and reporting.
