Delete your Islamate account

Last updated: 2026-03-26

Islamate (the service operated under this app and website) explains below how you can request deletion of your account and what happens to your data. This page is provided for transparency and to meet app store requirements.

1. Who this applies to

These steps apply if you created a member account with a username (email) and password on Islamate. If you use the app, the same account is used on the website at islamate.com.

2. How to delete your account yourself (fastest)

  1. Sign in to Islamate in a browser or in the app (WebView).
  2. Open your profile / account settings (Profile page).
  3. Use the “Delete Account” section, then confirm with your current password.

After confirmation, your session ends and your account is removed from the service. You can register again later with the same email only if the system allows new sign-ups; previous content tied to the deleted account may not be recoverable.

3. If you cannot sign in or need help

Email us from the address registered on your account and ask for account deletion. We may ask you to verify ownership (for example by replying from that email or providing information tied to your account).

4. Data that is deleted or affected

When your account is deleted, we remove or disassociate personal data tied to that account where our systems allow, including for example:

5. Data we may retain for a period

Some information may be kept for a limited time where the law, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution requires it, for example:

For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Timing

Self-service deletion through Profile is processed immediately unless a technical error occurs. Requests by email are handled within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days) after we verify your identity.
