1. What you are agreeing to

By checking the box at registration, you confirm that you have read this Member acknowledgment, that you agree to it, and that you wish to create an account on Islamate.

This acknowledgment works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything conflicts, the more specific or later-dated document may apply as described in the Terms.

2. Use of your information

You agree that we may collect, store, process, and use the information you provide (including identity documents, contact details, address, messages metadata, device and security logs, and content needed to operate the service) for purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including:

Operating accounts, chat, calls, shops, subscriptions, and safety features.
Verifying identity, preventing fraud, enforcing our rules, and complying with law.
Improving reliability, security, and abuse detection.

3. Disclosure to authorities and affected parties

You expressly agree that we may preserve and disclose your information and account activity when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:

Comply with legal process, court orders, or lawful requests from law enforcement or regulators.
Protect the safety, rights, or property of users, the public, or our service.
Investigate or respond to reports of scams, fraud, harassment, child safety concerns, or other unlawful or harmful conduct.
Cooperate with banks, payment partners, or platforms when required for fraud or chargeback investigations.

If you are reported for scamming, criminal activity, or serious abuse, we may share relevant records with victims, legal representatives, or competent authorities without further notice to you, where permitted by law.

4. Zero tolerance for scams and crime

We do not tolerate scammers, fraud, exploitation, or criminal use of the platform. Accounts used for such activity may be suspended or terminated, content removed, and information disclosed as described above. We may cooperate fully with law enforcement and others legally entitled to receive information.

5. Data security, leakage, and loss — no guarantee

We implement reasonable measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee security. You acknowledge that:

Unauthorized access, leaks, loss, corruption, or delays may still occur.
You transmit and store information at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any data leakage, loss, corruption, unauthorized access, or consequences arising from use of the service or third-party infrastructure (including hosting, push providers, or payment processors).

6. Assumption of risk & limitation of liability

You agree that you use Islamate voluntarily and that you bear all risks related to your use, including interactions with other users, commercial dealings, and reliance on any content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, directors, and staff will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or related to the service — including even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.

7. Changes

We may update this acknowledgment from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the service after changes may constitute acceptance as described in the Terms.
